Training Manager
My client is a global company specializing in women’s health treatments. We are seeking a Training Manager to join the new training centre in the UK. This position will be part of a small, international training and development team and will report to the Global Lead.
The office is in West Sussex and requires onsite work most of the time.
In this role, you will manage the end-to-end training and development of global learners for our specialized equipment portfolio. You will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders worldwide, ensuring a world-class experience for internal stakeholders, primarily field service engineers, and our distributors. With your process-oriented mindset and systematic approach, you will enhance our technical training setup. Additionally, you thrive in a dynamic international context and are willing to go the extra mile when needed.
The Role
- Design, develop, and deliver technical training for equipment, including digital e-learning materials, handouts, tests, and testing methodologies, live trainer-led webinars, and importantly, in-person sessions with field service engineers, offering hands-on experience with the equipment.
- Training will cover a wide range of specialized equipment, addressing installation, servicing, and repairs down to the component level, adhering to clinically acceptable standards.
- Oversee learner training and skills development to help them reach their maximum potential.
- Provide feedback to the design and product management teams regarding any pertinent information discovered during training, including failures, improvements, and other insights valuable for product enhancement.
- Maintain the training equipment and training space to ensure they are always suitable for delivering training when needed.
Requirements
- Essential: Experience in delivering hands-on, in-person training.
- Highly Desirable: Relevant qualifications in engineering or medical devices.
- Highly Desirable: Experience in providing hands-on engineering training.
- Highly Desirable: Proven track record of working with e-learning platforms and blended learning.
- Beneficial but not Essential: Experience in digital content creation
- Beneficial but not Essential: Software coding experience. Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a good team player who is energetic, creative, resourceful, and responsible.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
