The sussessful candidate will be taking a strategic approach to training, assessing the skills and knowledge within the business and determining what training is needed to grow and retain these skills. Either designing and delivering the training directly or arranging for a third-party trainer.
Key responsibilities include: -
Further developing our apprenticeship programme across the business.
Expand our internship roles across the business, supporting universities and opportunities within the business.
Working as the liaison between school and colleges ensuring work experience students are managed effectively, careers events are well supported and the students gain a positive image of Amphenol Ltd.
Identify training and development needs within our business. Designing and managing training and development programmes based on the needs of the business and the individual.
Plan and assess the 'return on investment' of any training or development programme, considering the costs of planned programmes and keeping within budgets.
Develop effective induction programmes for new employees.
Devise individual learning plans where needed.
Promote a work culture of continuing professional development (CPD).
Manage the training budget and monitor monthly expenditure.
This is a part time position, 25 hours per week. Exact working hours to be agreed.
