You will be working with colleagues on a range of projects, including business sales, acquisitions and fundraising.
You'll leverage your strong analytical skills and attention to detail, to tackle diverse financial challenges and contribute to successful outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis, based on both management and year end information, communicating the key information for inclusion in transaction documentation.
- Supporting sale side clients with the review/provision of information to buyers.
- Financial modelling. Preparing financial projections to support fundraising (P+L, balance sheet and cash flow).
- Preliminary assessments of financial information.
- Identifying and flagging financial risks and opportunities.
- Ascertaining sale side clients’ and acquisition targets’ working capital requirements, calculating transaction proceeds and distributions to shareholders.
Requirements:
- C. 2 years of post-qualification experience in audit, financial due diligence or financial modelling gained within a professional services environment.
- Accounts preparation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An excellent attention to detail and accuracy, while also keeping sight of the big picture.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- A sound understanding of UK GAAP measurement.
- Commercial awareness, including an ability to quickly understand clients’ businesses, growth drivers and the working capital cycle.
- Knowledge of basic company and personal taxation, this is not tax advisory role, but basic tax knowledge is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A willingness to take a ‘roll your sleeves up’ approach when needed.
This is a hybrid role with c. 2 days required in the office per week near Reading although this may be negotiable depending on your location.
