Hours of work : Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established organisation who are based in Portsmouth.
Our client are a specialist within their industry and have a requirement to grow their Transport team with immediate effect.
This is a very fast paced role whereby no two days are the same and you will need to enjoy being busy and be adaptable to change .
As a Transport Administrator you will be responsible for the following tasks
* Working within a small specialist team to assist with the transportation of goods.
* Managing a busy internal email inbox
* Managing client needs via the telephone.
* Assisting the Transport Manager with general administration
* Booking in jobs, scheduling in the transportation of goods.
* Dealing with customer enquiries on the phone and via email.
* Transport administration.
* Dealing with diver enquiries .
* Real time issues, for example arranging breakdown recovery and managing any vehicle related issues , accident management etc .
* Completing general administration.
* Customer liaison ,to update on orders and the delivery of goods as well as manage aftercare issues.
The ideal transport Administrator will have / be
* Experience within Transport industry would be desirable although not essential.
* Previous experience as coordinator / administrator would be required.
* Highly motivated, organised and resilient.
* Can demonstrate a high level of customer service skills.
* Ability to deal with stressful situations and make quick decisions in problem solving.
* Ability to take control and manage drivers when needed.
* Competent in using word and excel.
* Quick to pick up systems .
* Creative thinker.
