Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance records, and shipping documents
- Act as a liaison between drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies, including safety standards and legal requirements
- Identify and address transportation issues proactively, finding effective solutions to minimise disruptions and delays
- Develop efficient transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimising costs and maximising resource utilisation
- Coordinate schedules for drivers, vehicles, and shipments to optimise efficiency and meet customer demands
What's needed
- Ideally having a previous experience working in Supply Chain or FMCG environment
- Proven experience in transportation coordination or logistics administration
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and MS Office suite
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices
