Are you ready to make a positive impact in waste management and recycling? Our client, a leading waste management and recycling solution provider in the Eastern part of England, is looking for a dedicated Transport Administrator to join their dynamic team in Scunthorpe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administration duties with precision.
- Take orders over the phone and update the system promptly.
- Handle initial customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex matters to the relevant department.
- Provide support to drivers and the operations team to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Assist the weighbridge operations team in their day-to-day activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is crucial.
- Strong attention to detail and effective workload management skills.
- Collaborative approach to work, supporting team members when needed.
- Experience in the waste sector is desirable, but not essential. Similar transport roles are highly valued.
