Job Description
You will be providing overall administrative support to the Transport Department. Working in a small team of four, working alongside 18 drivers on shift at a time. You will be briefing and de-briefing with each driver at start and end of each shift. Alongside this you will be managing the compliance and act as a point of contact for any breakdown issues. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for their first step into a career within Transport.
Experience in Excel and knowledge of TMS would be beneficial to be successful in this role.
Salary: £24,148
Shift Pattern: 4on, 4off - day/night
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator
- Administration and data entry to maintain the Company’s systems for WTD and tachograph rules and regulations
- Monitoring and maintaining records for agency drivers, processing invoices using SAP and keeping accurate records of agencies’ terms and conditions
- Inputting and monitoring drivers’ holidays and sickness absence, maintaining the time-keeping and attendance system and processing sick notes
- Regularly updating the WTD system, ensuring the data is up to date and accurate
- Creating and providing daily reports to the Transport department regarding tachograph information
- Receiving and monitoring fuel deliveries, maintaining the fuel monitoring system
- Support investigation of any driver wage queries
- Providing various reports / spreadsheets for internal departments in a timely manner
- Carrying out any other formal and legal duties
- Record keeping

- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent
