DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seekin g aTransport Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team in our transport department.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will;
- Execute the Transport plan to ensure on time deliveries
- Ensure all delivery notes are issued and drivers are given correct delivery instructions
- To support the Transport First Line Managers as required
- Follow procedures so that operation remains legally and process compliant
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a fast moving transport or warehousing environment within an administration capacity would be advantageous
- An understanding of logistics and supply chain would be advantageous
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
