Transport / Carrier Manager

We are looking for a Transport / Carrier Manager to work at our client who are one of the UK's leading Transport Management companies. We are looking for someone who is very knowledgeable about Transport, of degree level education and has worked in or with Transport Management Systems (TMS)

Key roles

To manage the Carrier activity within the service, safety and cost expectations.

Build and align the Transport network to meet internal and external customer demands whilst achieving budgeted revenue targets

Develop and implement an industry leading best practice carrier standard across the network

Ensure there are sufficient approved resources in each region to operate safely and efficiently.

Work with internal stake holders to manage the commercial framework ensuring that the contracts deliver the expected value within agreed parameters.

To undertake an approval process for new and existing carriers

Develop and build capability to ensure that the carriers can meet future business requirements.

Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
