A leading UK-based drinks company, currently ranked 24th in the Sunday Times PWC Profit Track 100, is seeking a dynamic Transport Compliance Manager. The company, operating nationwide with 15 depots, prioritizes exceptional customer service and boasts a diverse product portfolio.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage an O licence fleet in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles, arranging repairs and routine maintenance as needed.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with driver's hours and working time rules.
- Ensure drivers are adequately trained and competent to operate relevant vehicles and equipment.
- Manage costs within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain accurate and timely records as required, adhering to specified periods.
- Ensure strict adherence to all legal compliance requirements.
- Enforce adherence to company policies by all personnel.
Profile
Successful Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated flexibility, crucial for our 6-day operational structure.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in IT skills.
- Excellent teamwork abilities.
- Desirable to hold a National CPC, though not essential.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in fleet management, handling 10 or more vehicles.
