A superb opportunity for a Transport Manager, to work for a prestigious business, based in Bracknell. You will ideally hold a CPC certification and have excellent leadership skills. We are seeking someone who ideally has previous waste management or construction industry experience. This is a full time, permanent position.

The Role:
- Ensure full legal compliance in all activities undertaken.
- Analyse and review vehicle routing to ensure maximum utilisation in conjunction with the Head of Transport, set and monitor KPIs around paying jobs, bins collected, percentage utilisation, vehicle accident rate, lead times, service delivery, sustainability.
- Monitor vehicle accident rates across the area of responsibility and ensure a consistent approach when dealing with individuals when performance in this area falls below acceptable standards.
- Drive efficiency through leadership and proactive communication within the team.
- Implement and deliver training and succession plans.
- Download, report, monitor and act on all tacho or legislative infringements.
- Liaise with customers in respect of issue or complaint striving to resolve at the earliest opportunity.
- Take a positive lead in embracing training opportunities.
Skills and Attributes:
- Full driving license with Class 2 entitlement.
- ADR Certificate.
- Health and Safety / Compliance experience.
- Excellent leadership qualities.
- Transport Manager CPC.
- At least 3 years’ experience within a similar role ideally within the waste or construction industry.
