About this opportunity
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to drive domain sales support for the KAM organisation securing Ericsson’s business success in the Radio related Transport segment.
The candidate is expected to play a key role in driving end-to-end Technical Sales for the Transport portfolio (IP Routing, Microwave Backhaul, Optical and Fronthaul solutions)
To succeed, the person needs to have a proven track record in supporting Technical Sales of complex networking solutions to Service Providers.
What you will do
- Drive the broader Ericsson Transport portfolio’s Technical Sales Support from Business Development to deal-closure in your territory.
- Be the “go-to-person” for the Transport portfolio’s Technical Sales support.
- Establish relationships with technical key influencers, decision makers and manage the entire sales process (from the technical side).
- Promote and establish Ericsson´s position as a key player in the local market and identify technical opportunities in Transport.
- Help your Sales counterparts to build & implement the respective Sales funnel.
- Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer
- Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customer
- Consolidate customer feedback and share with R&D organisation.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on Ericsson’s technology and solutions is communicated to the ones in need at the Business Area.
- Influence Customers vision & strategy, drive Ericsson involvement in creating customer visions, strategies & requirements
- Deliver customer value, provide insight on how new trends will affect customer business
- Drive Knowledge Transfer, perform coaching and mentoring activities to support internal competence build up
You will bring
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar.
Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions within an equivalent company
Domain experience & Overall experience in complex technical solution sales.
Hands-on, fully committed business developer.
Technical expert with regards to transport and radio technologies.
Strong background in Solutions/Consultative sales approach and process with ability to translate business needs to product solutions
Strong understanding of the Network Service Provider technical challenges incl intimate knowledge of the end-user needs
Strong ability to work in a complex global environment, effectively building and sustaining relationships at multiple levels with the customer as well as internally
Team player with the ability to create and environment to achieve challenging business objectives
Excellent presentation skills. Articulates arguments or ideas in a compelling way.
Respect, Professionalism, Perseverance, Integrity
Willing and available for some business travel.
Fluent in English. Additional language skills are an advantage
