We are currently seeking a Transport and Operations Administrator to join a dynamic and lively office team in Hatfield. This is a temporary position that is available immediately, and we are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
What you need to know about the job:
- Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off pattern (company is operational 7 days a week)
- Working Hours: 6am - 6pm
- Salary: £25,000 per year
- Easily accessible from Hatfield train station for non-drivers and free parking for drivers
- Weekly pay
- Start ASAP
- Minimum 3 months
Job Responsibilities:
- Updating customer orders and ensuring that all details are accurate
- Logging courier delivery times and tracking delivery progress
- Liaising with couriers and business customers over the phone to resolve queries
- Closing down jobs on the system and ensuring that all necessary information is entered
- Performing data entry tasks and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed
What skills do you need for this job?
- Previous administration and/or office based customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Excellent data entry skills and experience with computer systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
