Transport Planner

Our client are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy transport team, in this role you will be using the vehicle planning software to ensure efficient & effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan.

The shifts avaialble are;

4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts NIGHTS

As a Transport Planner your duties will include;

• Complete efficient and effective routes for the following day/week

• knowledge of road networks as vehicles can be out all week

• Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
• Help build runs for the general drivers
• Print and collate all driver s paperwork
• Pre-assign required collections

The ideal candidate with have the following;

• Experience working in a transport operation and knowledge of the logistics industry
• Ability to be flexible
• Strong communicator and customer service skills
• Calm under pressure and good at problem solving
• A positive attitude to work
• Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer

Salary up to 35k
