Staffline is recruiting for Transport Planners in Wakefield.
The rate of pay is £11.96 per hour.
This is a full time role working 4 days out of 7, the hours of work are:
- 6am to 4pm
Experience in a similar role is required.
Your Time at Work
As a Transport Planner your duties include:
- Operating Paragon software, which is specific IT software
- Providing cost efficient operational transport plans for distribution sites on a daily basis with a daily dispatch schedule for the following day
- Ensuring plans take into consideration stores' expectations, delivery restrictions, environmental restrictions and warehouse restrictions (as the order must be picked and loaded for dispatch)
- Giving direction and monitoring performance that assists the Planning Specialist in ensuring the department runs efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring the department provides good service to customers and stores though careful planning, identifying resource requirements for external / promotional uplifts.

Our perfect Transport Planner will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi task efficiently. You will provide assistance and support to ensure the department runs effectively.
Transport Planners will show good customer service skills.
Experience in a similar role is required.
