SalaryPay rate £13.00 per hour, £19.50 per hour after 37.5 hours per week and at weekends. Rates are PAYE, 28 days paid holiday per year.
Manpower Driving and Logistics are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our national clients. We have an existing vacancy for a Transport Planner in Stoney Stanton.
The role will involve planning routes and producing manifests for around 40 vehicles. Other duties include running reports, liaising with other departments regarding customer orders and issues and liaising with the workshops regarding vehicle availability. The role will also involve contacting customers regarding deliveries and handling driver queries face to face and over the telephone.
The ideal candidate will have a good telephone manner and be computer literate. Experience in a planning or transport role previously is preferred.
The hours of work will be a Thursday to Monday shift pattern, 8am - 4pm. Initial training will be done Monday - Friday. Some overtime will be required in busy times and is paid at overtime rate after 37.5 hours. All weekend work will also be paid at overtime rate.
