Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

We're seeking a talented Transport Planner to join our client's team, responsible for coordinating and optimising transport operations. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in transport planning, with a focus on same day courier services or same day express logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Efficiently plan and schedule transportation routes to meet customer demands.
* Allocate jobs to both employed drivers and subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Maintain clear communication channels with drivers and subcontractors to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly.
* Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
* Utilise transport planning software and tools to optimise routes and minimise costs.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in transport planning.
* Familiarity with same day courier services or same day express logistics is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
* Proficiency in transport planning software/tools is preferred.
