SalaryWe are recruiting an experienced TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR for our well-known Transport/Logistics client based in Birmingham B35. This is a TEMP-PERM opportunity starting immediately.
Hours of work:
11am-8pm
Days of work:
Monday to Friday
Salary:
£30,000-£35,000 depending on skills and experience
Location:
Birmingham, B35
The Role:
- Overseeing all transport office staff, running a pallet distribution operation
- Driver and vehicle compliance (vehicle defects, driver infringements, drivers hours etc....)
- Managing drivers
- Real-time problems solving
- Staff appraisal and feedback
- Following administrative and operational processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Transport industry experience (ideally pallet network but not essential)
- Supervisor/Team Leader (or similar) experience
- A deep understanding of driver and vehicle compliance
- A customer-focused attitude
- National CPC (preferred but not essential)
- Strong PC and administrative skills
