Transport Supervisor

Monday - Friday: 6.00AM - 2.00PM (Flexibility Required)

Annual Salary of £31,500

Day to Day Duties

The purpose of this role is to lead and motivate the transport team, providing excellent communication, training and development.
In addition to coordinating and supervising the team, you will be responsible for compliance, managing costs and developing relationships across the entire team including direct reports, driving teams, customer service and all levels of management.

Daily Duties Include:

• Ensure full compliance within the transport function insuring that all relevant legislative and corporate requirements are met.
• Ensure all KPIs are adhered to.
• Ensure all requirements are met OTIF.
• Ensure that the team contribute effectively to the service levels agreed.
• Ensure that routes are planned effectively and costs are optimised.
• Encourage open communication across the team operations.
• Continuously improve processes in order to manage effectively.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience as a Transport Super or First Line Manager
• Knowledge of transport legislation, Working Time Directive, Drivers hours
• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Desirable Experience

Desirable Skills:

• Computer Literacy and MS Office skills

What training is provided?

• On the job' training will be provided starting on day one and ongoing.
