Our client is an award-winning luxury tour operator who are specialist in the niche travel area of River Cruising and Escorted Touring.
They work with both direct clients and the travel trade and are now seeking to recruit highly motivated, service driven travel professionals who are able to multitask and work under pressure.
The role combines both Sales and providing the very highest levels of customer service with a major focus on attention to detail.Candidates must have previous experience within the travel industry in a similar role.
The role is offered on a fully remote basis to be based anywhere in the UK
Travel Sales and Service Consultant Responsibilities:To handle inbound calls from both direct clients & Travel agents in a professional manner
To maximize every sales opportunity to excel both revenue and conversion targets.
Accountable for booking a range of holiday types across multiple destinations for both River Cruising & Land Touring
To deliver exceptional customer service to our discerning, loyal customers who book high value trips
To manage the Customer Service & Sales emails by responding within the expected time frame with excellent written communication skillsCapable in managing Pre Departure Courtesy calls & provide updates to affected bookings
Travel Sales and Service Consultant Experience Required:
Previous sales/reservations or customer service experience gained within the travel industry.Strong sales skills
Exceptional customer service skillsExcellent written and oral communication competency
High quality attention to detail
A willingness to take responsibility and to work as a part of a close team
Ability to work in a high pressured environmentTravel Sales and Service Consultant Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary range of £30,000
25 days annual leave plus BH's as well as the option to purchase additional leave
