Our client, an international award-winning luxury tour operator is recruiting for a strategically focused Sales and Operations Director to join their senior leadership team and drive growth of the business during this exciting time.
The Travel Sales and Operations Director will have direct responsibility for the contact sales, air and Operations teams focused on optimising Sales and customer services.
The Travel Sales and Operations Director will be overseeing and developing the management ensuring all brands and products are aligned maximising sales performance and streamlining operations.
This is a great opportunity for a senor experience leader within the travel industry with a background in tour operations and luxury travel.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis - Central London
Travel Sales and Operations Director Responsibilities and Duties:
Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
Develop and implement Contact Centre process and procedures to ensure consistency in booking processes.
Maintain and analyse call centre metrics to determine appropriate staffing levels.
In conjunction with Directors and Managers, ensure that all sales staff are knowledgeable and up to date on all products through destination training, Sales and service training and continued fam trips coordinated through DMC's or Third-Party Suppliers
Work closely with the Agency Sales team to ensure that sales priorities are aligned.
Ensure Documentation team delivers accurate and timely documents to travellers and Travel Advisor partners.
Travel Sales and Operations Director Experience Required:
Extensive senior management experience within the travel industry within tour operations
Good knowledge of Sales and Operations
Strong Influential leader, with exceptional people management skills
Experience in budget and forecast preparation.
Experience of managing and influencing organisation stakeholders
Experience of managing, developing and coaching large teams
Strategic and operational thinker, able to demonstrate big picture thinking.
Travel Sales and Operations Director Salary and Benefits:
Base salary range £110,000 - £125,000 depending on experience.
Performance related bonus up to 50% of base salary
Hybrid working - 4days in Central London and 1 day remotely
25 days annual leave
