Treasury and Banking accountant (Fixed Term Contract) | Liverpool | £30,000 - £40,000 plus benefits | Retail

A leading a reputable Consumer goods client of ours is looking for a proven Treasury and Banking accountant to join the team immediately in January 2024. The business is extremely successful with a great reputation. The role will report to the FD and we are looking for someone to start immediately.
About the role

The successful accountant will oversee all Treasury and Banking matters across the company. The role will record, monitor, understand, report all cash movements into and out of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Daily banking summary
• Bank reconciliations
• Cash flow forecast
• Merchant service provider reconciliations
• Employee expenses payments every two weeks
• Credit card and petty cash spend cost allocation journals
• Accurate and compliant payment entries into online banking

Person profile

• Significant, Treasury, Banking and Cash Accounting experience
• AAT qualified background would be an advantage
• Experience of bank reconciliations, journal posting
• Previous experience of importing payments into online banking
• Ability to communicate confidently with senior directors and be solutions focused
