SalaryI am currently working with a global commodities firm who are looking to add an experienced manager into their growing London team.
Managing one individual and taking a leading role in owning UK daily operations including daily cash management, banking and FX executions, this is a great opportunity for a Senior Treasury Analyst with some mentoring/supervisory experience to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Execute FX spot and forward trades based on Business Units' instructions.
- Allocate receipts to different Business Units and reconcile daily nettings with banking counterparties.
- Update FX data in Microsoft Access and payment mandates in TPS.
- Confirm and match FX transactions in FXall.
- Manage daily funding of bank accounts in various currencies.
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash transactions in the TMS
- Approve payments twice daily on behalf of group entities.
- Ensure timely payment of external debt.
- Manage bank accounts for two group entities and the online banking platform (ING).
- Coordinate the annual Know Your Customer (KYC) refresh for ING bank accounts.
- Capitalize and accrue monthly interest, including withholding tax (WHT), in TMS.
- Distribute daily cash and monthly interest statements to global entities.
- Upload daily foreign exchange (FX) rates and interest rates.
- Conduct monthly global cash analyses and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Finance on entries in Kyriba.
- Ensure correct filing of confirmations and update processes.
- Manage MT940 connectivity and interface between different Treasury systems.
- Manage and develop a more junior member of staff
To be a good fit for this role, you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar treasury role, ideally from within the energy or commodities space
- Experience in payments and executions and be able to take day to day responsibility for these areas
- Genuine interest in people management and development and be looking for a lateral move/step up to manager level
- Experience of using treasury management systems, ideally Kyriba
