Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Section of Vascular Surgery and Imperial College Clinical Trials Unit for a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the short-stay aneurysm repair (STAR) study. This is an industry-funded study investigating short-stay EVAR across five NHS sites in the UK. As the Trial Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of trial management and grant development, including close liaison with the Chief Investigator and participating centres, and will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of this research, aiming to improve patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency in the management of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research within the prestigious setting of Imperial College London and positively impact the delivery of vascular services.

A working knowledge of the current EU Clinical Trials Directive, UK Clinical Trials regulations, Principles of GCP, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Research Governance Framework legislation is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in project management or managing a multi-centre study within a busy research unit.
