An established boutique Professional Services firm that specialises in Corporate, Trust and Private Wealth Services are looking to hire an Accountant (Client Manager) for their growing team.
The firms core expertise lies in international tax consultancy, accounting, financial services, fiduciary duties and trust services, catering to a diverse clientele that includes international corporations, entrepreneurs, institutional investors, non-profit organisations, expatriates, private individuals, and families.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- To manage a portfolio of clients with different company structures and trusts across various jurisdictions in direct contact to clients on a regular basis: this includes responsibility for all aspects of day to day management and maintain relationships with clients while providing them high levels of services
- To support the firm accounting department including preparation of accounts for internal companies, trusts and overseas entities
- Assisting in the setup of companies, in line with current national and international legislations.
- Involvement with set-up and management of trusts under common law and in foreign jurisdictions, including drafting of statutory documentation and overseeing preparation of financial statements for the underlying companies
- To carry out statutory and governance work (including production of minutes) for companies across various jurisdictions within filing deadline
- Prepare trustee resolutions, minutes and notices and complete annual and quarterly trust and company reviews, including resolving any issues
- Management of client bank accounts, performing any required money transfers, payments and related transactions in a number of currencies and maintain client financial records
- Providing Company Secretary duties, composition of legal documents and letters relating to client transactions, lodging documents with Companies House
- Business development involvement, participation in marketing the business and take on process of any new business
- To research tax requirements and to advise clients on the results
- Ensuring all transactions are processed in line with internal procedures, AML and national and international legislations and documents are maintained in line with compliance
- To ensure clients’ compliance files are adequately maintained
- Preparing for and conducting regular meetings with clients
- Providing billing support and debt collection when required as well as regular forecasts and proposals for income collection.
- Communicating with external parties in order to source the required information. Regular contact with banks, solicitors, agents.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a dynamic and structure Chartered Accountancy firm; experience in the Corporate, Trust and Private Wealth Services Industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of accounting software is essential (pref. IRIS, Clearbooks and Xero)
- Ability to consider tax and legal implications of transactions

QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant accounting qualification or QBE (qualified by experience)
ICSA/Governance Institute and/or STEP qualifications are highly desirable
