Tutors required

Customer Service & Business Administration plus – Digital Skills (Level 2)

Immediate start - Part time

3 week RO / RO contracts

West Midlands - various locations 

£18.00 per hour umbrella, PAYE available

Enhanced DBS within 12 months or on the update service

Our client, a leading nationwide Training Provider requires a Vocational Tutor to deliver engaging and inspirational programmes as part of a team, leading to defined outcomes for young learners in accordance with the company values and which meet prescribed internal and external standards.

They are looking for Tutors who would be interested in 3 week RO/RO contracts. Whilst they cannot guarantee ongoing requirements, we have been assured that they can keep you busy pretty much for the whole academic year going forward.

Duties and responsibilities

• Follow the rules and procedures for training staff
• Deliver the agreed programme in accordance with the course plan
• Complete a report on the team where applicable
• Ensure good housekeeping at the programme venue and compliance with local health and safety requirements
• Assess course tasks accurately, including past exam paper

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience with engaging with young people
• Ability to engage with and inspire young learners, by using age-appropriate training techniques and inter-personal skills
• Create an appropriate learning environment and maintain a disciplinary framework by demonstrating a strong ‘presence’ in the classroom
• Be capable of modifying delivery method dependent on the learners in the group
• Be able to work as part of a team and take direction from a Lead Trainer
• Be able to work to deadlines
• Have good ICT skills using Microsoft Office software

Person Specification

• Level 3 teaching qualification required
• Assessor qualification preferred A1/TAQA
• Up to date safeguarding training
