Fantastic opportunity for an experienced qualified Finance Professional ACCA/CIMA to join highly reputable, global manufacturing business as the Head of Finance & Operations.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director the main remit is to work closely with the management team to provide timely Financial Reporting to support decision making. You will be a strong manager of people leading a team across accounts payable, expenses, payroll, cash and reporting using SAP.
Key Duties include:
- Prepare month end reports and KPI’s and act as business partner for department heads
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts on time, accurately, with deviations and trends clearly explained
- Efficient delivery of Finance services payroll, supplier payments, employee expenses processing, cash and banking
- Manage and develop team of six – drive high performance culture
- Coordinate UK year end process and liaise with auditors, ensuring audit readiness and timely close out.
- Efficiently manage liquidity and take actions in conjunction with Corporate Treasury to optimise levels of cash, avoiding unnecessary cash surpluses and foreign currency exposures
- Prepare timely and accurate cash forecasts with drivers clearly explained
- Perform ICS tasks on time, identify and correct control weaknesses
- Initiate efficiency improvements
- Act as SAP process owner for Purchase to Pay processes
