POSITION: UK Senior Human Resources Manager
LOCATION: Remote with weekly travel across the UK
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our client is in a phase of dynamic growth, prompting the expansion of the HR function to meet the evolving needs of the business. Reporting directly to the HR Director, the Senior HR Manager role emphasises versatility as a generalist with a central focus on advancing the Employee Relations agenda. This role involves leading a team of Regional HR Managers and collaborating with senior management across the company's UK sites .
We are in search of an adaptable, dynamic, and resilient HR professional who can excel in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders and the Senior Leadership Team to drive core people initiatives.
The role is Monday to Friday and will involve weekly travel across the UK, therefore suitable candidates would be best situated along the M6 corridor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Supervise a team of Regional HR Managers, overseeing day-to-day operations, projects, and fostering individual growth.
*Maintain a comprehensive overview of all ER cases and take ultimate responsibility for their successful resolution, providing guidance to HR Managers handling complex employee relations matters.
*Address ER appeals and cases requiring additional support, ensuring thorough and objective investigations.
*Develop and implement effective solutions to people-related challenges
*Offer on-site support as needed.
*Collaborate with the UK HR Director to align Reward and Recognition initiatives with business objectives.
*Ensure the adherence to robust people practices and process compliance, driving positive change and identifying opportunities for internal process improvement.
*Guide and positively influence activities aimed at enhancing employee engagement, supporting the ongoing Diversity and Inclusion journey.
*Advocate for the company's UK values and champion the Diversity & Inclusion agenda.
*Collaborate closely with the UK HR Director and Regional HR Managers to provide leadership on all HR aspects.
*Foster and maintain credible working relationships across the HR team and the wider business.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
*A relevant degree or CIPD certification
*Previous or current experience in a HR Manager role
*Highly experienced with complex ER casework
*Previous experience in a fast-paced multi-site business
*Ability and willingness to travel across the UK 2-3 times per week (working from home the rest)
