My client is based in the heart of Liverpool\'s business quarter and seeking a professional Credit Underwriter to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company is an award-winning firm within the financial services market and offer progression opportunities.
Your new role
The position is being offered as full time with a hybrid model in place offering 2 days a week working from home. Your main responsibilities will be to evaluate and decision on financial credit applications.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to.
Work within credit policies and within industry guidance regulation best practices at all times
Negotiate alternative terms on proposed business
Assess the lending risk when decisioning referred proposals
Exercise a risk-based pragmatic and commercial view on the proposed business.
Ensure decisions are recorded accurately, and relevant supporting documents retained electronically.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal colleagues.

Used to working in a fast-paced environment and to working to tight deadlines
