As an integral part of the team, as the Underwriter, you will focus on shaping both new and existing insured business. Leveraging your expertise in policy and claims data, and play a vital role in setting premium rates from the ground up. This could involve creating innovative new products, collaborating on terms and conditions, and actively managing the portfolio within agreed service levels.
The primary responsibility will be to evaluate risk submissions and strategically price proposals to align with customer, market, and commercial objectives.
Accountability extends to maximising return on investment by achieving business objectives through insured products, key clients, senior managers, and strategic partners.
Key aspects of the role include:

• Supporting the implementation of the Business Plan, ensuring alignment with budget, service levels, and risk tolerance across all lines of business.
• Fostering profitable performance and growth for designated business lines and regions while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring the profitability of all product lines and recommending remedial actions when necessary.
