Underwriting Assistant

Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Commercial Insurance Underwriters based in Chelmsford looking to appoint an experienced Underwriting assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award-winning business, who reward their employees.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processing in-depth mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business and issuing all relevant documentation.
• Assisting trainees and apprentices with processing after the initial training has taken place and checking of their work.
• Preparing and issuing claims listings.
• Liaising with brokers and other departments within the company

Key Skills and Experience required:

• Min 1 year experience of working in an underwriting support role or similar.
• Experience in processing midterm adjustments and basic adjustments and renewal processing.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Professional and articulate
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks to a high standard
