Company / Care Home information:
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) to work within our very welcoming, warm and person-centred specialist Care Home for adults with complex mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities such as Huntington's disease and Parkinson's Disease. They may also require tracheostomies, ventilators and PEG feeding tubes.
- Our Care Home has 40 large bedrooms each with an en-suite, which are split across four units. Our home has communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, a sensory bathroom and a large accessible garden.
The role:
- You'll be working at a senior level, under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager, as part of a multi-disciplinary in-house team, to provide the highest standards of nursing care for our resident
- As a Unit Manager, you will lead by example, motivate the team and have strong leadership skills
- Provide professional, skilled and effective person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
- Demonstrating that your practice is underpinned by clinical theory and based on a mix of therapeutic tools and intervention strategies
- Develop collaborative needs-based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Safely administering medication following the company's policies and procedures
