Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Southampton. This role offers day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities for those looking to gain experience in education and make a positive impact in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons and facilitating learning activities.
- Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
- Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced school environment.
- A willingness to learn and undertake training as required.
