Urology Consultant

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert urological care to patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract infections, and urologic cancers.
• Conduct comprehensive urological assessments, investigations, and diagnostic procedures to formulate accurate treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, for various urological conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and patient-centered care.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to junior medical staff and trainees as required.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Completion of speciality training in Urology and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing complex urological conditions and performing urological surgeries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
