Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert urological care to patients with a wide range of urological conditions, including kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary tract infections, and urologic cancers.
- Conduct comprehensive urological assessments, investigations, and diagnostic procedures to formulate accurate treatment plans.
- Perform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, for various urological conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and patient-centered care.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to junior medical staff and trainees as required.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Completion of speciality training in Urology and entry onto the GMC Specialist Register (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing complex urological conditions and performing urological surgeries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advances in urological practice.
