Cambridge University Press and Assessment is looking for a UX Designer to join its Education Digital Product Design team.

About the role
We're looking for a designer to support and lead the research and design process on focused projects and support senior designers on broader product work.
- Support and lead the research and design process on broader product and strategic work.
- Ensure design solutions are carried out in accordance with our design principles and standards.
- Support the delivery of the Schools' Design System
- Contribute to the design of components and patterns.
About you
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of visual design and UX principles and be able to work closely with Dev-Eng teams to bring designs to life.
We use Figma to build and manage our Design System and design our products and services, it's not essential to be familiar with this but it is preferred.
Skills needed for the role.
- A considerable understanding and appreciation for user-centered design
- Ability to act on and incorporate feedback.
- Being able to provide constructive criticism and feedback in design crits.
- An understanding of human-computer interaction design
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Strong time and project management
