Job description

Are you a customer-focused UX designer looking to come in and take the lead on projects and drive change?
This is a brand new role created to be part of a software-focused product team. You’ll be instrumental in a large project to review and completely overhaul the current software suite. You’ll join a business that literally powers societies, it counts over 100 governments across the globe as clients and has a private sector client base including Microsoft. This is a business with a real heritage, but a business that flexes to the times and has evolved its product offering, embracing digital technology to bring new solutions to the market.

In your first 3 months you’ll be part of an end-to-end review of the current software applications and work with the product managers to enhance customer journeys and prioritise the most important changes.
From day one you’ll be hands-on designing and improving features on smaller applications including mobile apps, a large desktop app and customer-facing web applications.

Over the next 3 years, you’ll be a big part of the business journey to reimagine a product, create a greenfield client portal and work on one-off smaller projects.
As the ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience as a UX designer and interaction with enterprise solutions, working with engineers and leading complex discussions in UX design. You’ll have a portfolio that demonstrates your experience in creating concepts and detailing customer journey, ideally specifying interactions for hardware and / or software services for enterprise products.

Benefits wise, you’ll be rewarded with a generous package including:

• Salary £45,000 to £55,000
• Annual bonus (up to 10%)
• Hybrid working model 2-3 days per week
• 26 days holiday + bank holidays
• Competitive pension up to 9%
• Private healthcare
• Cycle to work scheme
• Subsidised gym membership.

The process will involve 2 stage remote interviews to allow you to showcase your skills and explore the opportunity in more detail.

Please apply asap to be considered or get in touch with Cheryl Burns at Reed to find out more.
