UX Researcher

A UX researcher will be essential for creating user-centered products and services. They will gather insights into user behaviour, preferences, and pain points, which not only improves user satisfaction but also informs decision-making, reduces development costs, and accelerates time to market. By identifying usability issues early and validating design decisions with real users, this role will contribute to long-term success and data-driven innovation.
Key responsibilities
- User Research: Conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user observations to gather insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.
- Persona Development: Create user personas and user journey maps to help teams better understand and empathise with our target audience.
- Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyse usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of our designs. Using the correct tool for the job (e.g. usertesting.com).
- Competitive Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' offerings to ensure our products remain competitive and innovative.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with UX designers, and product managers to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Report and Presentation: Communicate research findings and insights through well-structured reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for user-centered design principles and champion a culture of continuous improvement in user experience within the organisation
