Event Administrator - QE2 Conference Centre

  • £25,205 per annum 
  • 5 out of 7 days per week

What you will be doing:

The QEII Centre is the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in Central London and we are looking for an enthusiastic administrator with an interest in developing within Event Management to join our team. 
You will be an integral part of daily operations; ensuring menus are ready, allergen information is correct, preparing internal catering sheets, liaising with kitchen team, the point of contact for all internal booking requirements and overseeing ad hoc general administrative tasks based on business needs.   In addition, ensure the office is fully stocked with necessary consumables by working closely with senior sales team. 

Who you are: 

  • Enthusiastic about food and event catering industry 
  • Able to work on-site Monday to Friday, 0900-1700hrs 
  • Experienced in using Office software 
  • Able to prioritise administrative tasks based on timelines provided 
  • Able to work in individual role, within an office team 
  • Able to support colleagues or client adhoc requests a busy event programme 
  • Confident to work with senior management staff 
  • Knowledge of main food allergens (desirable) 
  • Knowledge of purchase order logs (desirable) 
  • Knowledge of EBMS booking system (desirable)
