Vacancies Network Planning Manager

Overview of the role

Bestway Healthcare is growing! In this newly created role, as the Network Planning Manager you will report into the Head of Operations and be responsible for our Lexon depots. ensuring informed decisions are made in managing network volumes in/out of the depots and resource whilst also ensuring the depots meet their SLAs.

Main Responsibility

• Work in conjunction with the Lexon Depot Management team focussed on  continuous improvements across the network and drive efficiencies.
• Utilise daily, weekly and seasonal trends to assist with preparation for increases and decreases in volume and communicate findings.
• Be the operational lead during resource meetings with relevant stakeholders to embed strong consistent resource planning within the depots to ensure that all risk periods are identified in advance so contingency plans can be made with you assisting in the decision making and planning for risk periods.
• Leading on resourcing planning as the business grows, with a focus on bringing new shifts to the operation as and when necessary.
• Ensure the depots maintain SLAs, liaising with the relevant teams; depot management, IT, supply chain, sales and buying teams to help manage any issues.
• Analyse daily revenues and interpret current resources to ensure costs are managed within agreed budget guidelines.
• Investigate forecasted volumes and challenge any spikes or variances to historical trends.
• Prepare weekly forecasts for circulation amongst Senior Management and key stakeholders at depot level
• Ensure delivery of KPI’s against the budget and to recommend and implement corrective action to address any variances. Review financial results and forecasts and determine activity for the next month, quarter and year to ensure cost control, financial savings and efficiency of operations.
• Support Lexon’s new business opportunities, internal changes and projects, from a production, warehouse, logistics and customer service perspective, in order that required projects are delivered on time, in full and within budget and business as usual is established.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience within a Network Planning role
• Commercial understanding of warehousing and transport operations
• Strong influencing skills and a good decision maker
• Ability to quickly build rapport with senior leaders and wider stakeholders
• Capacity modelling experience is desirable 
• Numerate and a strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Valid UK Driving License
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment (adapting to new processes and changes).
• Flexible approach for internal and external meetings, including travel and potential overnight stays
