We have a great opportunity for a Validation Engineer with a Quality / Project Engineering background to join a R&D and Product Development team in South Staffordshire.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and to a high level of quality, in partnership with the Design Team and Suppliers.

The position will cover various aspects of validation and quality activities, especially in area of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. Working closely with suppliers and production teams to drive continuous improvement in the implementation of new products.

Supporting the design sign-off process and work collaboratively with other functions to address design quality concerns.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality processes and control plans are in place for new products.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects are delivered on time by effective management of validation and quality activities for NPI projects in alignment with cross-functional project plans.
• Work closely with suppliers and production teams to drive continuous improvement in new product implementation.
• Play an integral part in the design signoff process.
• Investigate design quality concerns by working closely with other functions.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry standards.
• Implement all necessary quality processes and control plans for new products.
• Create a comprehensive NPD validation handover pack for SQA before the 1st production order.

Requirements:

• A good understanding of industry standards in essential

• Good communication skills and the capacity to stay calm under pressure.
• A strong inclination to continuously seek new approaches and solutions, and to push the boundaries of existing processes.

This role will be a good match for an engineer who has worked in a Design / Production environment with a focus of NPI and Sample Approvals from various suppliers.
