We have an exciting opportunity for a Validation Manager to join our team.
You will build a role and function with the purpose of co-ordinating, planning, and oversight of Independent Integration Test and Validation to be performed by SEA, supporting engineering and test functions.
In this role you will act as the company leader for all work related to the validation test discipline, covering People, Processes and Tools. You will also ensure that SEA has the appropriate capacity of skilled and experienced workforce for the discipline across all projects and programmes.

What you’ll be doing:
- Will build a role and function with the purpose of co-ordinating, planning, and oversight of Independent Integration Test and Validation to be performed by SEA, supporting engineering and test functions.
- Gains an understanding of current Validation processes and tool sets and investigates potential areas for improvement or evolution. Oversees the implementation of quality-related process change if necessary.
- Supports, manages and mentors Testing staff or other staff in support of validation activities. Takes an interest in their personal growth & welfare.
- Actively seeks out opportunities for improvement in the Validation function.
- Reviews and, if necessary, suggests improvement to, Validation related metrics and reporting.
- Participates in any adjustment to the scope of testing with Project Stakeholders.Takes responsibility for risk-based decisions associated with changes to testing schedules.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert on matters relating to Validation at SEA whilst maintaining independence of function to ensure independent Integration Test and Validation
The skills you need:
- Strong knowledge and experience of Test Management on a variety of products and projects.
- A good understanding of the needs of Validation in projects with both hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Requirements Management and associated tooling.
- Understanding and experience of both Product Development Lifecycles.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management and/or Product Lifecycle Management and the tooling associated with them.
- Ability to create and define a standardised validation approach and strategy at SEA
