SalaryVan Driver Job: Our Van Drivers travel to our shops all over Wales & parts of the South West moving delivering and moving our donated stock. They pick, pack and load doing around 8 daily drops and sometimes lend a hand in the warehouse as needed. In this role you’ll mainly cover South/West Wales & Bristol.
WorkingHours: TypicallyMonday-Friday between 7am-3pm
Job Location: Our Warehouse in Rumney, Cardiff (Springmeadow Industrial Park, CF3 2ES) You’ll need to be within a commutable distance to Rumney to collect and deliver our van each day.

Your CV skills & experience should demonstrate that:
- You’ve a current Van Driver licence to drive a 3.5tonne vehicle (our insurance covers us for 21 years plus)
- You’ve experience of being a Van Driver in a similar role
- You’ve customer facing experience with great interpersonal skills
- You know and can follow health & safety practices & safe working practices in a warehouse environment
- You’re adaptable, show initiative, seek out solutions and work well with people

We’re recruiting!
We’ve an experienced warehouse team and a friendly network of shops looking for a Van Driver. It’s someone making sure our donations are delivered to stores and moved around properly to keep our tills ringing and our shops stocked with some helping out in the warehouse as needed.
This job calls for a Van Driver with the right driving licence, who’s comfortable lifting and carrying heavy bags of stock and sometimes furniture and is great at customer service. Some of this role’s lone working but you may be accompanied by a volunteer Driver’s Mate.
So, if you like to be on the road and in a close-knit team, interacting with lots of people and have the driving experience this could be the perfect role for you.
What we’re looking for
The Van Driver job’s all about making sure our van’s driven safely to deliver, collect and move donated stock to where it needs be and on time. So, you’re good at organisation, planning and have foresight.
We’re not only looking for someone who can drive a 3.5 tonne van but someone who takes pride in being a brand ambassador, follows Health & Safety procedures and great at frontline customer service.
