VAT Manager (Advisory)

Are you an inspiring VAT Assistant Manager who are looking to step into a managerial position?

Join my client's expanding team at a leading professional services firm as a VAT Manager. You'll be a key player in providing expert advice on indirect taxation, contributing to the growth of our corporate VAT services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advice and review complex VAT returns, address liability queries, and conduct VAT health checks.
• Advise on complex VAT issues on transactions (both domestic or cross-border).
• Liaise and manage relationship with HMRC
• Stay updated on taxation standards, contribute to publications, and provide training.
• Identify business development opportunities, manage 'VAT only' clients, and collaborate on technical issues.

Skills and Experience:

• CTA/ ACCA/AIIT part qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience in VAT advice on transactions and international cross-border issues would be preferrable but not essential
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
