An exceptional mid-teir firm is looking for a VAT manager to join their growing team. Having started as a small firm, they have now grown to have 3 offices and keep their ethos of friendly expertise. The firm has trained hundreds of qualified accountants and advised thousands of sole traders, individuals, companies (which include PLCs and financial institutions) and partnerships.
Your new role
While the role is aimed at an Assistant Manager, the firm is also looking at the manager grade for this role, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to move into these roles. In this role you will be a part of the VAT team and provide comprehensive and specialist VAT advisory to all the businesses clients. As a VAT Assistant Manager / Manager, you will be assisting in minimising client\'s VAT liabilities and compliance issues, liaise with and meet clients, work with the management team to grow the business and clients and more.
What you'll need to succeed

• CTA Qualified (or equivalent)
• Must have 2 years of professional services experience.
• Time and work management skills must be good.
• Experience dealing with VAT work.
