SalaryVAT Director required to join our client, a well-established Accountancy Practice located in Solihull on a full time, permanent basis.

VAT DirectorPosition Overview
- Support accounts and audit teams in VAT compliance oversight, including reviewing complex returns and addressing queries.
- Oversee VAT aspects of company reconstructions and advise on VAT implications for corporate tax team restructures.
- Assist clients with VAT queries and support the firm in adapting to changes in VAT legislation.
- Advise clients on international VAT matters, including overseas territory registration and VAT charging (some awareness and advisory experience required).
- Lead VAT-related inquiries.
- Review and prepare partial exemption calculations.
VAT Director Position Requirements
- Accounting or tax qualification such as CTA or appropriate training and experience such as Inland Revenue and HMRC VAT training.
- Relevant post qualification experience and high level of competency in domestic VAT accounting.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of clients effectively and independently
VAT Director Position Remuneration
Salary starting at £80,000
37 hours per week (Flexi-time, core hours 10am-4pm)
23 days annual leave + bank holidays (rising after 5 years)
