Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer

RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to support and join their expanding team. Position Description: Rate: ££NEGOTIABLE (via Umbrella) The Vehicle Architecture Engineer is responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility. Vehicle Architecture are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond. Skills Required: * Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues. * Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management. * Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity. Skills Preferred: Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools CATIA abilities Experience Required: Delivery of vehicle programs Experience Preferred: Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred.
