We currently have an exciting role for a Vehicle Hygienist, providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Castle Donington site working Monday - Friday.

About the Role:

The purpose of the role is to ensure the company fleet of vehicles are cleaned to a high standard with cab cleanliness as a main priority. In addition, we also look to maintain the same standards across all trailers.

As a Vehicle Hygienist, you will be:

• Responsible for ensuring all trailers are being kept to the weekly cleanliness schedule and that deep clean schedules are adhered to.
• Responsible for the standard of hygiene and should report any issues such as defective internal wall coverings or load lock devices
• Responsible for sweeping of the load area to remove any loose debris and packaging debris that may be present in the trailer or vehicle
• Ensuring the internal walls and roof may also be pressure washed using the same method taking care to avoid any internal electrical fitments and condenser units of refrigeration units.
• Ensuring all deep cleaning tasks are logged on the vehicle hygiene log.
• Generalist administrative duties to provide support to the transport team as required.
• To assist the Fleet Team with yard checks and unit downloads
• Support site with general yard hygiene

What we are looking for:

• Experience of working within a hygienist environment would be advantageous
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• A positive “can do” attitude.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Polite and courteous approach at all times.
• An understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures
• Full driving licence (LGV) would be advantageous.
• Proven attention to detail in the preparation /completion of paperwork/administration.
