We have partnered with a well-established company in Corby who are looking for experienced and qualified Mechanics/Vehicle technicians. As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will join a substantial team of seasoned Vehicle Technicians and will report directly to the Workshop Manager. Your professional growth will be supported through participation in IMI accredited training tailored to your specific requirements.
Role requirements:
- As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, the majority of your work will take place in their Workshop, where you'll uphold high standards by conducting inspections, repairs, and services on vehicles.
- Additionally, you'll collaborate with Service Advisors and engage with our Customers.
- Ensure the completion of all necessary Vehicle Health Checks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date paperwork and utilizing the Garage Management System effectively.
- Manage tasks to meet agreed timeframes, maintaining a consistently high level of productivity.
- Conduct analysis, diagnostics, and road testing of vehicles, playing a crucial role in surpassing our Customers' expectations.
- NVQ Level 3, or equivalent is required
- Strong diagnostic / fault finding skills.
- Timing Belt and Clutch replacement experience.
- Confident communication skills
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines
- Mechanic: 2 years (preferred)
- Own tools are essential - (they have specialist and diagnostic tools)
- Driving license
