Job Title: MDS Transformation and Analytics Tech
Location: Mumbai
Role Description
Overview:
The Market Data Services (MDS) team aims to provide a robust and efficient service for every end user requiring market data, spread across 43 countries. The MDS Centre of Excellence set up provides support to manage the massive vendor perimeter of market data providers, exchanges, rating agencies, brokers and many more, managing the entire market data process from front to back including relationship management, procurement, advice, project management, installation and support
Scope:
MDS are working to implement a cohesive and efficient market data strategy for Deutsche Bank. The aim is to execute that strategy across the Bank with the clear objective of reducing market data costs. This will require working closely in conjunction with external vendors and all internal functions including global sourcing and infrastructure. Aim is to maintain, enhance the existing systems/platforms used through process automation.

Your key responsibilities
  • Enhance, maintain, and support the various systems which manage market data requests, inventory, invoice and billing; and the reporting platforms which enable market data usage and cost analysis
  • Interacts with different teams in Market Data Service to gather requirements and help transform the team by process automation development
  • Develop, enhance analytics reports and troubleshoot the reporting environment
  • Investigate data and system issues and work with vendors for resolution when required
  • Train end users on new reports and dashboards
Your skills and experience
  • Very good knowledge of writing SQL for data extraction and updates, joining of data sets from relational databases
  • Good knowledge of web programming
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Window scripts) will be a plus.
  • A fast learner with strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Influencing ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
  • Independent self-starter, customer focused with good interpersonal skills
  • Result-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced and pressured environment
  • Knowledge of DACS and MDSL MDM (Preferred, not required).
  • Highly motivated individual who is able to work to tight deadlines and without supervision
  • Outgoing, confident candidate who is able to deal with senior management, cross division and cross-cultural teams
