About the Role
We're looking for a passionate leader to join us at our Skegness Resort as part of our Restaurants Team
As a Venue Manager, you'll be vital in helping our guest's create smiles - getting stuck in to give them a great dining experience! You'll be part of a big team of people who are responsible for providing our guests with an altogether more fun and entertaining holiday.
You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.
You will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and Butlin's way of working
Reporting to the Head of Department, you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
You'll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.
The role will also involve analysing KPI's and stock control systems to maximise gross profit margins and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies.
You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests. You should be an advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an individual with prior experience managing a large pub/restaurant style venue.
  • Have experience working in a leadership role in a food-led environment
  • Level 3 in Food Hygiene is essential
  • Knowledge of stocktaking, labour control and health and safety practises in catering
  • A personal license holder is preferable
  • Thrive when working in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests, visitors and team!
You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121's and coaching.
Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role so you should be passionate about every interaction and should seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.
